Flaming River - So Easy a Caveman Can Do It!
When Flaming River said this kit was easy to install they weren't kidding! The toughest part was getting the old stuff out of the way and cleaning 40+ years of road grime off of my frame rails. The instructions are easy to follow and have lots of pictures/diagrams. If you have questions, a phone call to Flaming River puts you in touch with very polite, professional folks who can talk you through a specific step in the installation as well as make recommendations on other options if needed. For example, I didn't realize I had Granada spindles, but I was able to return the unit and have different length rack ends installed.
WARNING: There is VERY LITTLE TO NO ROOM for stock exhaust manifolds when this is installed (Flaming River warns you about this too). I recommend you also get a set of headers to ensure you clear the rack's steering box.
