However, the core of the BAKFlip HD Tonneau Cover / Truck Bed Cover is 25% more dense, 1/8" thicker and is much more rigid then the G2. Best bed cover that I have seen!
I had been looking for a good (Easily removable) bed cover for some time; I had actually considered building one like this myself, until I discovered the BakFlip folding bed cover. I was at first somewhat skeptical about the functionality of this cover, but decided to take a chance; and I am very glad that I did.
Overall, I am very happy with the BakFlip bed cover; it works wonderfully and provides a great sense of security for whatever I may have in the bed when I have to leave my truck in a public place. The cover folds and unfolds easily with just one hand, it is sturdy and durable. It is nearly watertight; during a very hard downpour of rain, it only allowed a few drops of water inside. The flexibility of being able to have it only partially folded when hauling odd loads is wonderful.
I do feel that the pull cords that release the latches feel a bit light and may wear out or break in time (Just pull on them gently to be safe). The support rods to hold the cover in...
