The Most Misunderstood Turbo
This turbo has been given a lot of negative criticism, unreasonably so. Most of us in the U.S. do not understand the tuner mentality in Japan... We are about "Ridiculous Amounts of HP" and they are more about tuning a vehicle to be "balanced" ( to improve track times and driver feel ). Keeping that in mind, the M7960 does EXACTLY what it is designed to do ( be an all-around performer ). It spools up quickly, and the improvement over my stock EVO VIII turbo was huge. This turbo is designed for the Road Course and not so much the Drag Strip ( ... again, where the negative feedback comes from ). With its responsiveness, durability, and street-ability, you will definitely have a hard time finding a better turbo for the Street / Road Course.
