Love it, but not the model for a bed with cargo rails
LOVE it. This is as weathertight as I would expect any tonneau to be (besides the solid locking ones that look like toy plastic). I've driven through rough rain and snow and kept my cargo completely dry, plus it looks great on a black truck! I hear the non F1-model is metal and can get really hot, so definitely get this model which is reinforced fiberglass, so not only is it lighter, but it doesn't burn your hands in the heat of summer.
BUT: this kit is for a bed that DOESN'T have the cargo rails. The way it's phrased in the product description, I thought it WAS when I ordered them, so I was disappointed to see that it wasn't... and I needed them that very weekend so I found that I was still able to attach them at the ends beyond my cargo rails and it has actually worked fine! Feels like a completely solid install that would never move a mm, but I wouldn't put any weight on the middle of it in my case. I'll probably either remove the cargo rails so I have solid supports in...
