Much better than a foam collar...
The HANS Sport II is great. Much better head motion and air flow (under helmet) than a foam collar. Plus, I am quite certain it is safer. The Sport II has a low enough profile behind the helmet that I can get in and out of the car's roll cage with it on. An important feature if you are in a hurry to get out of a car! I like the quick anchor feature as well, but wish the instructions were clear on where to put the Velcro patch to hold the release cords. I am guessing back center above where the top of the device can reach....
