Everast PowerIMIG 205 Review
I own a welding and metal fabrication business. I currently own an Everlast PowerTIG250EX, an Everlast PowerArc 200 and now an Everlast PowerIMIG 205. I had been happy with the TIG and Stick welders and went ahead and picked an Everlast product for my MIG welder. I didn't have to choose Everlast. There is a lot of competition out there but I have been very happy with Everlast's service and their welders. You get an awful lot of welder for your money.
The PowerIMIG 205 is capable of 24V at 200A. The drive mechanism is strong and reliable and the MIG torch is comfortable and rugged. It also has a variable inductance control.
I also purchased the spool gun for this welder for aluminum. It is a Miller style spool gun with a fairly long lead. The drive wheel in the spool gun is well made and the gun's duty cycle is more than able to keep up with my welding.
Overall another winner purchase.
