Good coilovers on an S2000
I have had these on my S2000 for about a year now and that works out to just about 15k mi or so. I had a sagging rear shock, and the dealer wanted an outrageous amount of cash for a replacement. A coilover setup started making a lot of sense.
These let you drop the car just to where you want it, and really tighten up the handling. I am very pleased with the cost, appearance and performance of the D2 setup. One thing that surprised me a little was that to change the ride height, you really need to unbolt the lower attachment from the lower control arm. This is, of course, worth it because the alternative would be to over compress the spring to drop the car and this would deter from the handling.
If you are an adult owner looking for a smart handling upgrade that will really make the car look great, coilovers are the best bang for your buck, IMO. I have been really happy with these D2's and can recommend them highly after a year of use.
