A life saver but needs refinement!!!!!
Don't get me wrong this is a great generator but it could be a little better. First off, there is no L5-30 plug on unit, only L14-30. The other improvement is the gas tank. It is sunken on the ends where the fill and fuel gauge are mounted. If these sunken sections matched the rest of the tank, it could easily be a 7 or 8 gallon tank, allowing for extended run times. Overall, i am happy with my purchase, which i got from my Cornwell tool guy on sale this month. Yes it does have a fuel gauge that is not mentioned anywhere, not even on the champion site. It is a little
loud for the size of the muffler that is installed but its OK, i think it will do right by me. Last week here was a statewide scattered power outage and my champion was there to handle the situation. We were without power for about 72 hours and it was hot, really hot!!! This did not affect the generator and it delivered when needed the most. Also it is really more efficient than stated on fuel also. I have had to...
