BEWARE- Will not fit 4.0 V6 Engine
I gave this 5 stars because I absolutely love this exhaust once I got it installed however as advertised on here and Borla's website, it says that it is compatible with both the 4.0 V6 and the 4.7 V8 but as I found out trying to install this exhaust, it DOES NOT fit the V6. It is about 4 inches too short. I measured the mid pipe on both the stock exhaust and this Borla exhaust and it is indeed 4" shorter (54" stock and 50" Borla). I called Borla and complained and they say that they have never run into this before and this system has been out for several years now. Perhaps I got a bad one but nevertheless, it would not fit. I took it to the local muffler shop and they were able to cut the exhaust and weld an extension to make it fit. All said and done, the exhaust is on and it sounds awesome. Not obnoxiously loud but has a nice deep drone to it. I haven't opened it up yet (WOT) but I can tell you that at idle, you don't even hear it. But romp on it and it comes to life.
