BAK Industries part # 36309 is their Roll-X series tonneau cover. Roll-X tonneau covers combine all the great features of a roll up cover plus the security of a hard folding cover like the BAKFlip. The cover is an aluminum track similar to a garage door with a leather grain vinyl coating on the top. Much like a garage door it includes a track system that clamps to the bed rails for the cover to roll in and out on. When opened the cover can be stowed in the open position using built in straps which allow the truck to be driven with the cover in the open position. Just like the BAKFlip the tailgate has to be opened to unlock the cover so if the tailgate is locked the entire bed is secure.

Local companies wanted close to $900 for it and $65 for installation. Amazon had this for about $150 less (price has gone up since then). I was unsure if this was the real Roll-X by Bak but my fears were dispelled once it arrived. Amazon's great return policy also gave me peace of mind knowing that if i ordered the wrong size or whatever, i could easily return it without hassle (except for having to lug it to the shipping place to send back). I installed it myself in about 45 minutes. It took so long because it was my first time and i did it myself. I consulted the enclosed directions, which recommends two persons to install, and reviewed YouTube videos. It was a little tight in some places so i had to trim the rubber slightly to fit the rails and now it fits great. If i have to remove and reinstall it, it will take half as long to install now.
