It just plain works
This thing is amazing, its completely automatic. You press the button, it extends, finds the satellites, and locks on. I haven't had any problems with it and the picture quality is amazing. I've even been able to pull in the signal when there were tree branches above, as long as they aren't too thick.
The unit is sturdy too. I ops checked that when I accidentally drove off with the dish up. Drove down the interstate for 70 miles till I noticed cars were honking at me. At first I just thought folks were being friendly, then to my horror, I realized the dish was up. I pulled over quickly and retracted it. That was about a year ago and it has worked flawlessly since. I wouldn't recommend doing that, but this thing is built sturdy.
Light years better than my old king dome unit. You can't go wrong buying one of these units!!
