Excellent Balance of Comfort and Performance
These coilovers made my 2001.5 S4 ride the way a premium sports sedan should. You do lose a little bit of the silky smoothness of the stock audi/sachs suspension, and there is slightly more road noise and tire impact transferred to the body, but this is more than made up for. Brake dive used to be moderate and now it is almost non-existent, body roll in corners is much more controlled, and most noticeably in a stage-3 car is that it no longer lifts in the front and squats in the rear the way it used to under full throttle, which made the car feel unbalanced and loose coming out of corners.
These are properly damped shock bodies, no bouncy ride on underdamped stiff springs like the generic chinese aluminum coilovers or poorly matched lowering springs and shocks. Also, no need to try to adjust and match the damping properly side-to-side or front to back, just install and enjoy the fixed damping. The car is not racetrack firm, but seems like it will still be very manageable on...
